Optima UK are a people centric, independently owned training, recruitment, and consultancy business, formed in 2011. Our combined industry expertise puts Work Well Live Better in safe hands, as looking after employee’s health and wellbeing is the strongest of our values, aligning with the core focus of your Workplace Health Programme – putting the health and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.

Your Work Well Live Better team comprises of Mental Health and Wellbeing Specialists, Level 7 Leadership and Management Coaches, Project and Change Management experts, Clinical Therapists and Psychologists, and Mental Health First Aiders, ensuring that you have the best people behind you, helping you to make positive and meaningful changes in your workplace.

 

Worcestershire County Council Public Health encourages everyone to lead a healthy, active lifestyle and offers a wide range of support across the county to help people achieve this. Having good health and wellbeing is the key to enable people to live happy, prosperous and independent lives. Our individual health impacts everything we do in life, and the Public Health team supports people to become more active, healthy and self-reliant in managing their health for as long as they can.

Working within the County Council, the Public Health team link closely with partners to grow community networks and signpost people to support in their local area. Creating Work Well Live Better together with Optima UK is just one of the ways to achieve this.

The health of the Worcestershire workforce is at the heart of everything we do. Our key focus is taking a preventative approach to improving health and wellbeing, whilst supporting businesses to reduce levels of absenteeism, staff turnover, and increase productivity and retention rates.

Work Well Live Better is a large county wide network which will facilitate the sharing and learning of best practice, as well as peer support and access to health and wellbeing resources including training, across the following key areas:

Relevant information via our website, which showcases high impact and accredited resources, in a clear and concise way that can be easily accessed and utilised.

Exclusive invites to our annual events calendar which will showcase emerging trends across key areas of workplace health. This includes virtual monthly bitesize meetings, quarterly face to face breakfast networking sessions and twice-annual face to face showcase events, which will be supported by our chosen programme partners.

A business survey that will identify the needs of your business, and what support and resources are available to meet these needs.

An opportunity to become a network ambassador and to case study the work you are doing to improve health and wellbeing across the network, sharing best practice and learning with other businesses.

Access to tailored, targeted support

A unique element of being part of the network is the targeted support available to individual businesses most impacted by health inequalities. The support will be evidence led and bespoke to business need as identified through a workplace health needs assessment. Support will include taking a systematic approach to improving employee health and wellbeing.
